被误读和夸大了的“”伪命题“”——从鲁迅书简看他与林文庆之间的“矛盾“ The Misunderstood & Exaggerated Pseudo-proposition

Abstract

Although Lu Xun only spent more than one hundred days in Amoy University, however, he left behind a series of bewildering historical puzzles. Such as the contradictions and conflicts between he and Dr. Lim Boon Keng, the president of Amoy University at that time, which was a question which plagued scholars for long time. However, it was an artificially exaggerated problem. Actually, there was no violent conflicts between Lu Xun and Dr. Lim as imagined by scholars. Moreover, the most important reason causing Lu Xun to leave Amoy has nothing to do with Dr. Lim Boon Keng. Hence, the leaving od Luxun from Amoy University should not be regarded as that fishbone stuck in the throat in our evaluation of Dr. Lim Boon Keng.
