Abstract

The study aims to identify the effectiveness of a program based on the strategy of integrating the subject of the Arabic language with Islamic texts in the development of the academic achievement of the basic fourth grade in the United Arab Emirates. The researcher adopted the experimental curriculum with two experimental and control groups. The researcher selected an intentional sample from Emirates National School. The study sample was 50 students, 25 students for the control group and 25 students for the experimental group. Key results showed: a statistically significant difference between the averages of the experimental and control groups in the remote application of the attainment test, for the benefit of higher computational average pilot group students. A statistically significant difference between students' average grades in tribal and postgraduate applications for the study achievement test is attributable to the developed program based on the strategy of integration of the Arabic language with Islamic texts. This study contributes to determining the effectiveness of a program based on the strategy of integrating the Arabic language with Islamic texts in the development of the basic fourth grade in the United Arab Emirates. This study may benefit those interested in teaching the Arabic language from teachers, supervisors, and course designers on how to develop language programs based on the strategy of integration with Islamic texts. The outcome of this study is consistent with previous studies that examined the effectiveness of using Islamic texts to teach and benefit from Arabic.
